take a victorian stroll through live scenes from dickens' a christmas carol

If you have never taken a trip to The Shops on West Ridge, 3200 W. Ridge Road, Greece, make it a special day this Christmas season and attend the 18th annual Dickens Fest.
The Greece co-op offers more than 200 shops selling used and new items, antiques and craft merchandise under one roof.
Manager Homer Marple says he got the idea from a customer. Though it is in its 18th year, the festival is all new this year. Along with the cider and doughnuts, caroling groups and costumed shopkeepers, this year includes 10 interactive scenes from Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."

When: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, from Saturday, Nov. 5, through Saturday, Dec. 24.
