a little international gourmet flavor to dining at mcc

Eating in culinary institutes where chefs-in-training are honing their skills can be a "foodie" experience for a reasonable price.
Here's a place to try it in the Rochester area at Monroe Community College.
International Fridays at Reflections is a four-course prix fixe lunch prepared and served by Monroe Community College's hospitality and culinary arts students each fall semester.
Each Friday the cuisine from a different region of the world is featured.
Cost: $15.
When: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays through Dec. 9 (no lunch Nov. 25).
Where: Monroe Community College's Building 3, 1000 E. Henrietta Road, Brighton.
Reservations: Call (585) 292-2598 or (585) 292-2579. Reservations should be made for between 11:30 a.m. and noon and guests should allow an hour for the meal.

Good to know: Anyone who makes a reservation in advance can have a free parking permit emailed to them for that day.
