Finger Lakes leaves are presenting their final show this weekend before the red, yellow and golden spectacular comes to an end for another year.
Take time to look around at nature's beautiful fall season one last time, and honestly, don't be sad. It is all part of the cycle, and soon winter's wonderland will display its own beauty.
Where will you go? I'm going to try a three-directional driving approach to viewing leaves between Friday and Sunday. Each day I have a place to go-one in the Southern Tier, one north in Monroe County and one on a Finger Lake. On route there will be dedicated quiet time for absorbing as much as I am able. Thank goodness for autumn!
