Greentopia, a celebration of sustainable living is to be held in Rochester's High Falls district on Saturday and Sunday September 17 and 18, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. This newest of Rochester festivals really does promise a new experience, and if are not already "festivaled-out," give it a try.

Highlights: Fashion show is 3 p.m. Saturday; film festival features 12 documentaries, including Everything's Cool, at The R.O.A.R. Club (times on website); speaker series includes live-via-Skype discussions with Ed Begley Jr. at 2 p.m. Sunday, author/environmentalist Bill McKibben at 3:30 p.m. Sunday and animal rights activist/conservationist Paul Watson at 11 a.m. Sunday at WXXI studios.

Also downtown: Across the bridge over the Genesee River from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday is Roctoberfest, featuring local music, food and beer on the Genesee Brewery grounds.
