The New York Museum of Transportation, 6393 East River Rd, Rush, will recreate what it used to be like at an old-time trolley park on Saturday, July 16. As the sun sets there will be unique opportunities for night photography.
"Trolleys at Twilight," scheduled from 4 to 10 p.m., features trolley rides, the happy sound of the calliope wafting across the beautiful Genesee valley countryside, and Bruster's Ice Cream treats.
A diesel locomotive and two cabooses will meet the trolley for the continuation of the trip to the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum.
The trolley departs every half-hour, beginning at 4:30, and no reservations are needed.
Admission for "Trolleys at Twilight," including both museums and the ride is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors age 65 and older, and $5 for children age 3 to 15.
