a gourmet meal for the sophisticated palate

My husband and I might not have found The Hazelnut Kitchen in Trumansburg if it hadn't been for the suggestion of our hosts at The Black Walnut Bed and Breakfast nearby.
We were impressed with the urban feeling to the space and the unusual menu choices.
I chose white shrimp sautéed with anchovy butter, snap peas, garlic, basil & cherry tomatoes aside steamed quinoa with grilled ramps. All the tastes worked well together.
Our wait staff was attentive, but did not hang over us either while we were enjoying our evening.
We would drive the hour and a half from home to return here for a meal. It was well worth it!
