Each of us has a normal breakfast routine, and hardly a day goes by without the perfect start to a morning. At least that's my opinion of the first meal of the day that gets me off on the right foot and with a good attitude.
The wonderful part of summer in the Finger Lakes is the abundant choices of fresh fruit for cereal, local honey to keep seasonal allergies at bay and brown eggs from the neighbor's farm. Right now, I am adding strawberries and rasberries to my breakfast grain and yogurt.
Along with the menu comes the special place each of us chooses to have our meal whether it is overlooking the lake, on the patio listening to the chirping birds or at the kitchen table surrounded by family making plans for the day.
