Arthur Horton has been crafting folk art for nearly 37 years. His works are Wildlife carvings of Ducks, Shore birds, Elephants, Manatee, and Handmade Burlap rugs with colorful yarn artistically designed among other very interesting styles and mediums. While in Section 2 of the VA hospital in Bath, Arthur learned how to carve, and has been doing it ever since. After making a few pieces, Arthur had his nephew bring a few pieces back to the person that taught him They were very impressed, which encouraged Authur to continue and strive for other skills in the realm of Folk art.
