I don't remember an April in the Finger Lakes when I have spent so much time planning what I want and need to do outside, but have been hindered by April rains-and even a lot of snowflakes.
The rains are greening the lawns and the buds are pushing forth with plenty of moisture.
I walked in my high boots around the gardens and there were bulbs shooting upward, giving me hope. Let's see how the rest of the month plays out. I am anxious to work the soil.
