New York State's bird is the bluebird, and it will be the center of attention at a workshop.
The New York State Bluebird Society is hosting a workshop on the colorful creature Sunday, March 20, at the Old Grange Hall in Angelica.
The workshop, which begins at 1 pm. and is free to the public, will feature two presentations — one covering the Eastern Bluebird, and the other dealing with the purple martin.
The program will be hosted by the president of the New York State Bluebird Society, Fredonia native John Ruska.
