quick food, but slow enjoyment

Sometimes I am forced into a fast snack while I am on the road, and if I plan ahead properly, I will be able to eat a granola bar and a piece of fruit for my noontime meal.
A fast snack spread out on my lap in the car doesn't mean that I have to sacrifice the slow pleasure of enjoying my midday break either. If I can find an inviting locale to stop, then I savour the view along with my food. Even if I am in a busy parking lot in the city, I still observe around me perhaps catching cloud formations or shadows cast on the buildings. I let my mind wander a bit before I plan out the next hours of the afternoon.
There is a good, warm sense of aloneness for me that is the refreshment that body body needs.
